Stephanie Clark and her husband Christian were in a plane accident Saturday evening--a small plane, Christian with a new license, instructor, Stephanie. The instructor is dead, Christian has 20% burns on his body and a broken back, Stephanie has 60% burns on her body and a badly damaged pancreas. She is in extremely critical condition.

We have felt very sad about this since learning of it yesterday and keep checking Courtney's blog hoping for a positive update. I have been touched by the 150+ comments that people around the world have left for Stephanie & her family on the blog, most expressing their love and faith...Stephanie was pretty active blogging and obviously has influenced a lot of lives.

I know the Clarke family would be touched by your concern. Steve is our legislator and Cindy on the city council, but above all that they have been good friends to me. My heart aches for them and Stephanie and Christian.
Once again I am overwhelmed at the protection our family has been blessed with.
