Sarah Darby?
Can someone tell us a little more about Sarah Darby's 'track & field' success...we heard something about it...a record? or at least a very fast time?...but we're not sure...the Doyle boys are very excited & want to know. They just had a track/field day at school and Seth was really hoping to break a school record...he came close, but it didn't happen. We'd like to know more about Sarah.

Sarah ran a 5:19 mile at the League finals a few weeks ago. This is the fastest time ever run by a girl running the mile on the JV team. As it tuned out it was also the 2nd fastest time run by any San Clemente girl on either JV or varsity that day. Sarah is giving up competitive tennis to run Croos-crountry this fall. They have a good chance of winning state!

Having run a pretty consistent 8-minute mile my whole life, I have a lot of respect for such a fast time. GO SARAH!
